Have a question about this trip?

What awaits you

A destination in demand the world over, the westernmost Arab country on earth and France's back garden, with pleasant temperatures and a safe environment: a visa-free country you can set off for on the spur of the moment.

Dazzling in colour and rich in cultures, this is where God's palette was knocked over: the boundless rose-gold Sahara, the vast, rolling Atlas Mountains, the arty, languid blue town of Chefchaouen, and Casablanca, as romantic and full of feeling as in the song.

The mystery of the One Thousand and One Nights, a brilliant exotic culture: this is Morocco, like nowhere else.

Marrakech

The Red City, with Jemaa el-Fna, the square of sleepless nights: the glittering city of the One Thousand and One Nights, whose lights and smoke dance in everyone's heart.

The Sahara

The third-largest desert in the world, the romantic Sahara of Sanmao's writing: endless dunes that tell of the romance and solitude of the great desert, and the purest starry sky in the world, its stars as many as the Sahara's grains of sand, twinkling in the deep-blue night.

Fez

Fez, the Yellow City, is the oldest imperial city in Morocco; its nine thousand alleys hold the essence of Moroccan craftsmanship and, before you know it, you are travelling back through a thousand years.

Ksar of Aït Benhaddou

A World Cultural Heritage site and the most beautiful ancient Berber village, close to Ouarzazate, which is known as the Hollywood of Morocco: the filming location of many films and series such as Game of Thrones and Operation Red Sea, and a classic example of the architecture of southern Morocco.

The Ksar of Aït Benhaddou is a group of earthen buildings enclosed by high walls, a typical pre-Saharan settlement. Many houses are built inside the defensive walls, with arrow towers all around to back up the defences.

Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen, the Blue City, the Santorini of Morocco: an arty, languid blue town.

Todra Gorge

The walls of the Todra Gorge are sheer red rock more than 300 metres high, rising straight into the sky. Majestic, steep and severe, it is one of the world's top ten rock-climbing destinations.

An almost perfect trip to Morocco, far better than we had imagined. Both Lina and DJ were extremely attentive and professional guides who fulfilled all our requests, saving us a lot of time and adding lots of joy to our journey! The children loved all the activities in the desert. Thank you so much for your careful planning, which made this trip to Morocco truly unforgettable for us.

The total driving distance is about 1,500–1,600 kilometres, an average of about 250–270 kilometres a day; Day 6, from Merzouga to Fez, is the longest drive, about 7–8 hours, but the scenery along the way is forever changing.
